Life is tough right now, especially for working professionals. Balancing the demands of working from home, dealing with household chores and looking after family members, all at the same time, can be daunting. And yet, each day I am surrounded by stories of hard work, cheerfulness, and the positivity that people bring to their attitude – something, that’s truly inspiring.
Right now, ‘human-ness’ matters most
This pandemic, in my opinion, has shown all of us the true meaning of being human. Be it uplifting and motivating each other or supporting the well-being of our customers, humanity has truly defined us. At IndiaFirst Life, we believe that people are our raw material. Which is why, our focus is to safeguard their interests and create opportunities that enable them to achieve their best, even during challenging times.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Always by your side
I’ve always believed that Family Comes First. And with the IndiaFirst Family, it’s no different. We are here to support each other, no matter what the challenges. Which is why, we’re glad to have launched the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – a 24 x 7 confidential service that assists each employee to face life’s challenges bravely. EAP offers a range of self-help resources as well as personalised help through professional counselling. In fact, EAP addresses all those issues that make up -one’s psychological and emotional well-being. Needless to say, EAP can be accessed through phone, email or online.
Celebrate certainty in these uncertain times
Empathy defines us. I am happy to state that there were no pay cuts, we paid full bonuses, and 80% of the organisation received increments at IndiaFirst Life. Walk the talk, I say.
Let’s make each day a blessing, at home and at work
Even in a pandemic, there’s no reason why we can’t shine at work or home, every day. I’m happy to announce that IndiaFirst Life has been voted one of India's Best Workplaces in Insurance for delivering a great workplace experience. A fitting showcase of the mutual love and faith we place in one another.
Thank you for staying brave through this crisis. We shall overcome this together soon.
