Step 1. Claim Registration

Answer: Online: Register your claim online at "https://www.indiafirstlife.com/claims/register-claim-online"

Email: Share soft copies of all the mandatory documents at 'claims.support@indiafirstlife.com'

Call: Contact us at 1800-209-8700 for assistance. Our representative will guide you through the claim registration process.

Visit Us: Drop soft/hard copies of required documents at any nearest IndiaFirst Life Branch or Bank of Baroda or Andhra Bank Branch.

Courier: Send claim intimation and supporting documents to IndiaFirst Life Insurance Company Ltd., 12th and 13th Floor, North [C] wing, Tower 4, Nesco IT Park, Nesco Center, Western Express Highway, Goregaon (East), Mumbai – 400063

Immediate registration upon receiving the claim intimation and documents.

Step 2. Claim Assessment

Answer: Our team will thoroughly evaluate the claim details and notify you if any further information is needed.

We will provide you with an acknowledgement letter containing a unique claim number to track the status of your claim.

All the information will be shared with you on your registered contact details – SMS/Email/Letters.

Step 3. Claim Settlement

Answer: After a comprehensive evaluation, we will render a fair and timely decision on the claim.

Turnaround Time (TAT) in Claims Process as stipulated by IRDAI for Death Claims:

Settlement or Rejection or Repudiation of claims where investigation is not required: Within 30 days from the receipt of the last necessary document.
Settlement or Rejection or Repudiation of claims where investigation is required: Investigation must conclude within 90 days from the date of the claim intimation, with settlement within 30 days thereafter.

Accidental/Suicidal Death

Answer: Post-mortem and chemical viscera reports.
FIR/Panchnama/Inquest and final investigation reports.
Copy of the driving license if the Life Assured was driving during the accident (relevant for 'Accident and Disability Benefit Rider' selection).
