Nalin Bhandari is the Finance Controller at IndiaFirst Life Insurance and a qualified Chartered Accountant with over two decades of experience in financial leadership across the insurance, power, and manufacturing sectors. He is responsible for leading the Company's finance, taxation, fund raising, IFRS implementation, internal controls, audits, statutory compliance, and finance transformation initiatives.

Over the course of his career, Nalin has developed extensive expertise in financial strategy, IPO readiness and execution, mergers and acquisitions, capital and debt fund raising, working capital management, cost optimisation, finance operations, controllership, due diligence, process transformation, and corporate governance. He has successfully led strategic initiatives, including finance transformation, process automation, strengthening internal controls, IFRS implementation and business partnering with business leaders, regulators, banking partners, external auditors and other key stakeholders.

Prior to joining IndiaFirst Life Insurance, Nalin worked with IDBI Federal Life Insurance (now Ageas Federal Life Insurance), Kotak Life Insurance, Enercon India, and Bajaj Hindusthan, gaining rich experience across high-growth and established organisations.

Known for his strategic mindset and collaborative leadership style, Nalin is passionate about building high-performing finance teams and leveraging technology to create agile, efficient, and future-ready finance functions.

Nalin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, is a Chartered Accountant and has completed the ISB CFO programme at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad.
