Varun Gupta

Chief Distribution Officer – Bancassurance

As the Chief Distribution Officer for Bancassurance channel at IndiaFirst Life, Varun Gupta is responsible for spearheading a strong network of existing Banca partnerships, developing a comprehensive diversification strategy, and establishing new collaborations to further enhance the company’s growth.

Varun is known for building businesses on key pillars of people orientation and customer centricity. He believes in creating the right culture, which acts as a guiding force for inspiring high-performance teams. His #CustomerFirst approach has enabled him to bring sustainable growth and solve complex challenges. With over 28 years of experience in sales leadership, Varun has not only demonstrated superior execution but also strategically led large scale transformations with elan.

Previously, Varun was associated with Max Life where he was an integral part of the organisation’s growth story. He worked in key leadership roles across Agency and Bancassurance distribution for more than 24 years.

Varun is a B.E. (Mechanical) from Delhi College of Engineering and an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies.
